Inter look a tired team and there is little chance of anyone getting much rest before next season, a report in the Italian media highlighted today.

As per Corriere dello Sport’s print edition, the Nerazzurri have picked up crucial points in recent weeks but without ever looking at their best, as they chase the Serie A title.

There is a logical explanation for this because Inter were the last team to finish the 2019-20 season, having reached the final of the UEFA Europa League.

Inter’s players are set for an action-packed summer though, with lots of Antonio Conte’s first-choice options involved in the European Championships or Copa America.

Samir Handanovic and Achraf Hakimi are the only members of Inter’s starting XI not to be involved in either major tournament, the report highlighted.

Lautaro Martinez is also set to play for Argentina in the Tokyo Olympics after the Copa America, leading the report to suggest that Inter must prioritise signing a new striker in the summer.
