Inter were offered deals to sign several players when they met Samir Handanovic’s agent Fali Ramadani on Wednesday, according to a report in the Italian media.

FcInterNews.it said Ramadani offered Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng to the Nerazzurri, although a deal will be difficult due to the German’s wages.

Boateng wants a two-year deal worth €4 million annually and Inter made it clear they wouldn’t stand much of a chance of guaranteeing him such a fee.

As far as defenders are concerned, Inter also discussed Nikola Maksimovic with Ramadani (who manages the Serbian), confirming their approval for the 29-year-old but also the distance between their offer and his wage demands.

Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic is another player who was offered to Inter during the meeting, proposed as an ideal third or fourth striker for Antonio Conte’s squad.

However Jovic, who is on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, earns €5 million annually and was signed by Real Madrid for €60 million two years ago, so he would not come cheap.

Inter would be interested if the striker became available on loan but at the moment Jovic is not considered a priority.

The Nerazzurri did not discuss Handanovic’s future with Ramadani during this meeting, but the report said the club’s intention was to keep him at the club for the final year of his contract.
