Official – Alessandro Prontera To Referee Inter’s Crucial Serie A Match At Crotone

Inter will be refereed by Alessandro Prontera on Saturday when they visit Crotone for matchday 34 of Serie A.

The Nerazzurri need just four points from their final five games to be confirmed as champions for the first time since 2010, but they could secure the title as early as Sunday.

Antonio Conte’s side will win the scudetto if they pick up three points at the Stadio Ezio Scida and Atalanta fail to win at Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon.

Prontera has only taken charge of three Serie A matches this season, none of which involved the Nerazzurri.

The 34-year-old most recently officiated Fiorentina’s 2-1 win at Hellas Verona on April 20 but has spent most of the campaign refereeing in Serie B.

Prontera will have Ivano Pezzuto acting as fourth official in Calabria while Gianluca Manganiello will be in charge of VAR duties.

He also refereed Sassuolo’s 3-2 win against Hellas Verona in March and Spezia’s 2-0 win at Udinese back in September.
