Jose Mourinho was in a nostalgic mood on Wednesday as he celebrated the 11-year anniversary of Inter knocking out Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.
Inter headed to the Camp Nou for the second leg of their semi-final in 2010 with a 3-1 lead to defend, and they were made to defend for their lives against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Barca won the game 1-0 on the night but it wasn’t enough to stop Inter progressing to the final, where they completed the final leg of their historic treble by beating Bayern Munich.
Mourinho marked the occasion by posting a picture of his infamous celebration on Instagram, writing: “The moment when adrenaline and happiness make you a sprinter…”
