Inter are in Scudetto winning position after having defeated 2-0 away against Crotone thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakimi at the Stadio Ezio Scida.
If Atalanta drop points tomorrow against Sassuolo the Nerazzurri will secure their 19th Scudetto. Otherwise the Nerazzurri can secure it at home next Saturday against Sampdoria.
Samir Handanovic – 6: Didn’t have too much to do but did what he needed to do when called upon without much fuss.
Milan Skriniar – 6,5: Continues to make important last ditch tackles thanks to his brilliant ability to read the game and impeccable timing. Backbone of team.
Stefan De Vrij – 6: The Dutchman continues to lead the defence with elegance and intelligence. Never puts a foot wrong and his passing is faultless.
Alessandro Bastoni – 6: Another stable performance by the 22 year old who plays with a maturity far beyond his years. Offers options in attack and solid defensively.
Achraf Hakimi – 7.5: Phenomenal performance by the Moroccan international who is probably Nerazzurri’s most in form team right now capped off with a goal.
Nicolo Barella – 6,5: Struggled a bit in the beginning but worked his way into the game and was one of the best players on the pitch for the Nerazzurri.
Marcelo Brozovic – 6.5: Good performance by the Croatian playmaker who compliments Barella and above all Eriksen better than Sensi currently.
Stefano Sensi – 6: Back in the line-up and played well, especially in the first half. Dropped off in the second half and brought off for Christian Eriksen.
Matteo Darmian – 6: Wasn’t his best performance in an Inter shirt as he lacked sharpness and focus at times. Was replaced by Ivan Perisic in second half.
Romelu Lukaku – 6,5: Important in defence, fundamental in attack, with his ability to link up and play with his back against the ball. Got another assist.
Lautaro Martinez – 6: Unlucky in the first half when he hit the woodwork but wasn’t his best match for Inter this season. Replaced by Alexis Sanchez.
Christian Eriksen – 7: Applied the finish to a well worked and overall gorgeous goal to unblock the match. His turnaround since after Christmas is remarkable.
Ivan Perisic – 6,5: Came on in the 65th minute for Darmian and provided the extra sharpness in attack on the left flank that Inter lacked up until then.
Alexis Sanchez – 6.5: Replaced Lautaro Martinez in the 65th minute and was instrumental in the build up to the opening goal with a gorgeous back-heel.
Antonio Conte – 7: Won the game for Inter when making three changes in the precise right time which won the match for the Nerazzuri.
Alessandro Prontera – 6: Decent overall performance by the referee and his team who kept a consistent level throughout the match.
Inter – 7: Dominated from start to finish and were unlucky to have not scored sooner and to have won by a larger margin. Scudetto incoming.
