Inter coach Antonio Conte is on the verge of leading the club to a first Scudetto since 2010, in a title described as being his personal “work of art” by Italian media.

The Nerazzurri earned a 2-0 win over Crotone at the Stadio Ezia Scida in Serie A yesterday to condemn their hosts to relegation, whilst moving them to within a point of the title.

The victory came courtesy of goals from Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakimi, but Inter will be crowned champions today if Atalanta fail to beat Sassuolo.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the Scudetto will be of great personal satisfaction to Conte, who is set to win his fourth title after three with Juventus.

“The work of art presented by Conte at his press conference is one step away from being unveiled,” the newspaper claimed.

Tuttosport also suggested that the Scudetto was all but confirmed after the impact of Eriksen and Hakimi, and Inter were now counting down until the moment they officially become champions, which could be as soon as this afternoon.
