Inter’s inaccuracy in front of goal has been highlighted by sports data analytics firm Opta, who took to Social Media to reveal how close the Nerazzurri had come in recent weeks.
Antonio Conte’s side struck the frame of the goal in their 2-0 win over Crotone in Serie A yesterday and it is becoming a recurring theme, with the Nerazzurri’s forwards being left frustrated by the woodwork.
In a tweet, Opta revealed that Inter had indeed struck the woodwork 10 times in seven games, as many occasions as in the previous 32 matches.
“10 – Inter have hit the woodwork 10 times in the last seven Serie A matches, as many as in their previous 32. Edges,” Opta tweeted.
