Lautaro Martinez and Achraf Hakimi are on cloud nine after Inter secured the Serie A title, according to their agent.
Inter were confirmed as champions yesterday for the 19th time in their history, after Atalanta were held to a 1-1 draw away at Sassuolo.
Hakimi was on the score-sheet on Saturday when the Nerazzurri secured a 2-0 win at Crotone, paving the way for Sunday’s mass celebrations across Milan.
Alejandro Camano manages both players and told FcInter1908.it today: “They are extremely happy to have won the title, like the rest of the Inter family.
“Lautaro and Hakimi have celebrated and enjoyed a beautiful few hours.”
Both players are likely to receive interest from across Europe during the upcoming summer transfer window, not least because Inter are battling financial problems which might force them to sell some key players.
Asked if this season’s scudetto could be the first of many titles with Inter, Camano added: “They both have a contract with Inter and are happy to be champions with this shirt.
“Conte is a super coach and they both get on very well with him.”
Hakimi – who spoke to Spanish TV last night about his excitement at winning the scudetto – has scored seven goals and provided eight assists during his first season at Inter, following his €40 million move from Real Madrid last summer.
Lautaro has found the net on 17 occasions in all competitions, setting a new personal best tally for goals in a single Serie A season (15).
