Steven Zhang gave an emotional address to Inter’s players today as the Nerazzurri celebrated winning the Serie A title.

Antonio Conte’s side were at home on Sunday when Atalanta’s draw at Sassuolo handed them the Scudetto with four games to spare.

Inter’s players finally had the chance to enjoy their triumph together when they resumed training at Appiano Gentile this morning.

According to Gazzetta.it, Zhang told the players: “I want to congratulate all of you.

“You’ve written an incredible page of Inter’s history in a season that was particularly difficult because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’ll keep this moment with us forever, thank you!”

Inter’s president then helped crack open the champagne and stepped back as wild celebrations broke out between Conte and the squad.

Conte was held aloft by his players as they chanted ‘champions!’ while wearing celebratory t-shirts.

Inter have a 13-point lead at the top of Serie A with four games left, meaning they can no longer be caught before the end of the season.

The Nerazzurri will round off their league campaign with fixtures against Sampdoria (on Saturday), Roma, Juventus and Udinese.
