Antonio Conte wants at least four signings to strengthen Inter’s squad for next season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As per Tuttosport’s print edition, Conte will meet to discuss the Nerazzurri’s transfer plans with owners Suning before the summer.

Inter’s boss intends to honour his contract (which expires in 2022), but he also wants it to be very clear what the club’s targets are for the 2021-22 campaign.

The fact many are already talking about the ‘second star’, which Inter would receive by winning a 20th scudetto next season, does not help matters because Inter need four signings to reinforce their squad.

Conte would reportedly want Inter to sign a left wing-back, two strikers and a goalkeeper who can eventually succeed Samir Handanovic.

Inter are known to be battling financial difficulties so it remains to be seen how many signings they can really guarantee for their head coach.
