Inter are one of three Serie A clubs studying a move for Mikkel Damsgaard, according to a report in the Spanish media.

As per Diario AS (via FcInter1908.it), the Nerazzurri are in contention to sign the Sampdoria midfielder along with Roma and Juventus.

Damsgaard joined Sampdoria in a €7 million deal from Danish side Nordsjaelland last summer, but he is now worth at least three times that amount.

The 20-year-old has also received interest from the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City.

Damsgaard is thought to be one of Serie A’s brightest young talents and is under contract with Sampdoria until the end of the 2023-24 season.

He has scored two goals and provided four assists for Claudio Ranieri’s side, including one assist in the Blucerchiati’s 2-1 win over Inter in January.

Sampdoria will visit San Siro on Saturday as Inter’s first opponents since they were crowned Serie A champions last weekend.
