Inter are due to launch their new club anthem before Saturday’s match against Sampdoria, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said the Nerazzurri had decided not to wait for next season to unveil their next song at San Siro.
Max Pezzali and Claudio Cecchetto’s anthem is expected to be chosen as the new song, beating off competition from Povia and Merk & Kremont.
Inter’s match against Sampdoria will be their first since securing the Serie A title last weekend.
Antonio Conte’s side have four games left before the end of the season, with the game on Saturday followed by fixtures against Roma, Juventus and Udinese.
The Nerazzurri will receive the Serie A title in their final game of the campaign against Udinese on May 23, where they are also expected to debut their fourth kit.
Pezzali and Cecchetto’s new Inter anthem was potentially leaked on YouTube last week, although it is not confirmed yet that this is their entry.
