Inter will meet a new referee on Saturday when they host Sampdoria for matchday 35 in Serie A.
Giovanni Ayroldi was appointed earlier today for the fixture at San Siro, which will see the Nerazzurri play for the first time since being crowned champions.
The 29-year-old referee has taken charge of six matches in Serie A this season, most recently a 3-0 win for Hellas Verona away at Benevento on March 3.
His most high-profile appointment to date was Roma’s win over Benevento on matchday 4, but now he will oversee his first game involving Inter.
Daniele Paterna will be fourth official for the match against Sampdoria while Daniele Orsato is in charge of VAR duties.
Inter have nothing to play for against Claudio Ranieri’s side this weekend, but they will be keen to exact revenge on the Blucerchiati after losing 2-1 at Marassi back in January.
That remains the Nerazzurri’s most recent defeat in Serie A, having picked up 15 wins and four draws since then.
