Antonio Conte is planning six changes to his Inter side for tomorrow’s match against Sampdoria, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said Romelu Lukaku was likely to be rested at San Siro, with Alexis Sanchez taking his place up front.
Roberto Gagliardini, Matias Vecino and Stefano Sensi are competing for two spots in midfield, while Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian are battling to start at left wing-back.
As far as the defence is concerned, Conte could start Danilo D’Ambrosio and Andrea Ranocchia in an all-Italian back three with Alessandro Bastoni.
In addition to Bastoni, the four Inter players expected to keep their places in the starting XI are Samir Handanovic, Achraf Hakimi, Christian Eriksen and Lautaro Martinez.
