Stefan de Vrij is on cloud nine after Inter’s players celebrated the Serie A title together in midweek.

The Nerazzurri were confirmed as champions with four games to spare last Sunday, ending the club’s 10-year wait for a major trophy.

De Vrij was a key figure in Inter’s three-man defence and finally enjoyed a well-deserved celebration on Wednesday, as Inter’s players were reunited at Appiano Gentile.

The defender tweeted a group photo with the caption: “I M Scudetto!”
