Arturo Vidal has paid tribute to Alexis Sanchez after Inter’s Chilean duo won the Serie A title together.
The Nerazzurri were confirmed as champions with four games to spare on Sunday, ending the club’s 10-year wait for a major trophy.
Vidal joined his fellow countryman Sanchez at Inter last summer after moving from Barcelona, and now the pair have won a third title together after their two Copa America triumphs.
The Inter midfielder posted pictures of himself with Sanchez and wrote on Instagram: “We left Chile many years ago with the dream of conquering the world.
“We didn’t know what life would have in store for us and after all these years, with lots of sacrifice, dedication, commitment and perseverance we’ve achieved incredible things.
“We know there are still lots of dreams to fulfill in the future too.
“All this is for us, our families and our country.
“Viva Chile!”
