Romelu Lukaku has no intention of considering a departure from Inter, according to a leading Italian broadcaster.

Sky Sport Italia (via FcInter1908.it) said Lukaku would remain at the Nerazzurri for many years to come if it depended on him alone.

Lukaku is becoming ‘a king’ at Inter and his love story with the club could only be threatened by more serious financial problems or ‘a monster offer’.

The 27-year-old represents ‘hope’ for Inter’s future and is enjoying his prolific strike partnership with Lautaro Martinez.

Lukaku is loving life in Milan, having celebrated Inter’s Serie A title with supporters in the city last weekend, but he does not see himself as the Nerazzurri’s only leader.

As per Sky Sport Italia’s Matteo Barzaghi, the Belgian believes he is only one of many leaders within the dressing room, which perhaps explains why he is achieving so much success under Antonio Conte.

Lukaku’s desire to remain at Inter is said to be ‘music to Conte’s ears’, having scored 21 goals in Serie A so far this season.

The striker assured supporters today that Conte would not leave the club, while also making a slight dig at his former Manchester United teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic
