Inter are facing the prospect of losing coach Antonio Conte and directors Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio this summer, amidst growing uncertainty at the club.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the trio are disillusioned by the plans of President Steven Zhang as he looks to cut operating costs further, despite Conte leading Inter to the Scudetto this season.

The newspaper suggests that either all three will remain or they will leave together, with a mutual decision to support each other and move in the same direction.

Conte has drawn interest from the Premier League after previously winning the title with Chelsea, and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are competing for him.

Even if they do opt to remain at Inter, there is little optimism that any of Conte, Marotta or Ausilio will extend their contracts beyond next summer, with all three due to expire in 2022 and showing little appetite for a renewal.

Zhang is set to return to China from Milan in the coming weeks and may be faced with the prospect of a complete overhaul of the club, with a new coach and directors required.

Meanwhile, Inter maintain that striker Romelu Lukaku is not for sale unless they receive an offer of at least €120 million, amidst interest from Chelsea and Manchester City, whilst Lautaro Martinez is being tracked by Real Madrid.
