Having wrapped up the Serie A title, Inter coach Antonio Conte will make changes to his side for this afternoon’s match against Sampdoria.

The Nerazzurri were crowned champions after Atalanta were held to a 1-1 draw against Sassuolo last Sunday, just one day after they had defeated Crotone 2-0.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte sees the match against Claudio Ranieri’s side as a chance to give squad players an opportunity to impress.

Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino will return to the starting line-up for the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and will be joined by Christian Eriksen and Roberto Gagliardini.

Conte will also make changes to Inter’s defence, with Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij dropping to the bench. Italian pair Andrea Ranocchia and Danilo D’Ambrosio are in line to step in and be given starting spots.

Top scorer Romelu Lukaku will also be rested for the visit of the Blucerchiati, with Alexis Sanchez expected to partner Lautaro Martinez in attack.
