Inter’s Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini believes the Nerazzurri started the match against Sampdoria in the right frame of mind, he told an Italian broadcaster moments ago.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia at half time, the former Atalanta man underlined that the Nerazzurri took to the pitch with the right mentality.

“We started with the right mentality. The coach has gotten us used to always enter the pitch with the same mentality. Of course, we are more relaxed and we are playing a good game.

“It’s always great to hear the fans and we do have some regret that they can’t be here with us to enjoy this title. We hope to be able to also give them joy in the coming years.”

Inter lead after the first half against Sampdoria with 3-1 after Roberto Gagliardini broke the deadlock before turning provider for Alexis Sanchez who doubled the Nerazzurri’s lead.

Sampdoria got one back before the Chilean international bagged a brace by restoring Inter’s two goal lead.
