Inter have restored their working relationship with European governing body UEFA after officially withdrawing from the planned Super League.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, UEFA have sought to draw a line under the breakaway league and have welcomed nine of the 12 clubs back to the European Club Association body.

Alongside AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, and six Premier League clubs, Inter have formally announced their intention to abandon the project and were hit with the loss of 5% of UEFA competition revenue next year.

Meanwhile, the clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotpsur, have agreed to contribute a combined €15 million to fund grassroots football across the continent.

The newspaper reports that Inter consider this conclusion to be natural and expected that the situation would progress in this direction. The Nerazzurri are content that relations with UEFA have been restored and are looking forward to a positive working relationship.
