Inter fans are set to gather to welcome the squad to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for today’s match against Sampdoria and celebrate their Scudetto success.

Antonio Conte’s side were crowned champions last weekend after defeating Crotone 2-0 and seeing Atalanta fail to overcome Sassuolo, confirming them as title winners for the first time since 2010.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the fixture against Sampdoria marks Inter’s first game since winning the league and supporters are keen to show their gratitude to the team.

Fans will accompany the team coach across the city to the underground car park at the stadium, whilst an area outside the ground has been cordoned off to allow fans to gather and celebrate the title.

This will be limited to 3000 people however, and COVID-19 regulations will remain in place as much as possible.

Meanwhile, a new song penned by Max Pezzali and Claudio Cecchetto and celebrating the Scudetto will be played around the stadium, although today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests this will be reserved until Wednesday’s match against Roma.
