Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has enjoyed a perfect record when scoring for the club, as he netted the opener in yesterday’s 5-1 win over Sampdoria.
The Italian international broke the deadlock early in the match before setting up Alexis Sanchez for another, as Antonio Conte’s league champions made light work of the Blucerchiati.
Inter took to their official website to highlight how a Gagliardini goal guaranteed victory for the club, with all 14 of his strikes for the Nerazzurri leading to wins, across 12 matches.
Meanwhile, the club also highlighted Gagliardini’s remarkable scoring record against teams from Genoa, with seven of his Inter goals coming against teams from that city.
The former Atalanta midfielder has struck twice against Sampdoria and hit five goals against Genoa since joining Inter in 2017.
Gagliardini’s goal yesterday came from a low Ashley Young cross, and the Englishman has provided the assist for three of the last four goals scored by his Italian counterpart.
