Inter President Steven Zhang has already begun work to cut costs at the club and will look to move players on, with only five individuals deemed unavailable for transfer.

According to Calciomercato.com, Zhang is looking to reduce the wage bill at the club by 15%, as it currently exceeds 75% of Inter’s turnover and is considered unsustainable, particularly in the face of mounting financial pressure.

The Nerazzurri will look to lighten the wage bill and raise funds by selling players, with only striker Romelu Lukaku, midfielder Nicolo Barella, and defenders Achraf Hakimi, Stefan De Vrij, and Alessandro Bastoni considered untouchable.

Inter are set to release Ashley Young, Aleksandar Kolarov, and Daniele Padelli at the end of the season, whilst defender Andrea Ranocchia must accept reduced terms if he is to be offered a new contract.

Such savings will allow the club to secure new contracts for Bastoni and striker Lautaro Martinez, although the latter may yet to be sold to raise funds in the summer.

Elsewhere, the Nerazzurri have identified Chilean pair Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal as high earners who could be offloaded for a transfer fee, whilst they may seek to cash in on young players, including Andrea Pinamonti and Lucien Agoume.

Similarly, back up goalkeeper Andrei Radu will be made available for transfer this summer.
