Inter will be reunited with referee Daniele Chiffi on Wednesday when they welcome Roma to San Siro.

The Nerazzurri are searching for a record-breaking 15th straight home win in Serie A when they host the Giallorossi in midweek for matchday 36.

Chiffi will take charge of his third Inter match this season, having already overseen their 3-0 win over Genoa in February and their recent 1-1 draw at Spezia.

The 36-year-old has also officiated Roma on two occasions, including their 0-0 draw on the opening day of the season at Hellas Verona (which was then forfeited by Paulo Fonseca’s side after an administrative error related to their squad lists).

Alessandro Prontera will be fourth official at San Siro while Luigi Pairetto is due to be in charge of VAR duties on Wednesday.

Inter were held to a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture against Roma back in January, following a late equaliser from Gianluca Mancini at the Stadio Olimpico.
