Rodrigo de Paul wants to join Inter and keeps reminding his agent, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As per FcInter1908.it, Udinese’s captain recently hired Mino Raiola as his new agent and has made it clear that his preference – if he moved in the summer – would be to sign for the Nerazzurri.

De Paul is on great terms with Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti, whose restaurant he visited in Milan last week, while he has also had a few informal conversations with Antonio Conte.

Inter currently do not have any money to complete signings, so they will need to sell players first, but the Argentine could give them a hand in pushing through a deal with Udinese.

De Paul is valued by Udinese at €40 million, but the Pozzo family would be willing to sell for €33-34 million and Inter have several youngsters who could interest them.

Sebastiano Esposito and Lucien Agoume could come in handy for the Nerazzurri during negotiations, but Udinese are also admirers of Andrei Radu and Andrea Pinamonti.

Udinese would not be able to afford Radu or Pinamonti’s wages, but they could still be included somehow in talks if the clubs worked to find an agreement.

Inter and Udinese are not in talks over De Paul at the moment, but the 26-year-old’s preference for the Nerazzurri puts them in a good position despite their financial problems.
