Inter have ensured the club’s second-best Serie A points total ever after beating Roma.
The Nerazzurri moved onto 88 points after securing a 3-1 win against Paulo Fonseca’s side, courtesy of goals from Marcelo Brozovic, Matias Vecino and Romelu Lukaku.
As per stats company Opta, Inter have only picked up more than 88 points on one occasion before, when Roberto Mancini led them to 97 points in the 2006-07 season.
The Nerazzurri have only been playing with three-points-for-a-win since 1994, but this stat is imagining they had always been playing with that metric, which makes it an astonishingly impressive achievement.
