Romelu Lukaku reached an impressive personal milestone during Inter’s 3-1 win over Roma, as per stats company Opta.
Lukaku provided his 11th assist of the season in Serie A by setting up Matias Vecino for the Nerazzurri’s second goal at San Siro.
Maicon has held Inter’s record for most assists in a league campaign since the 2009-10 season, when he provided 11 for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Lukaku has now matched the Brazilian’s tally, and he still has two games left in which he can beat that record.
11 – Romelu #Lukaku has delivered 11 league assists this season, equalling Maicon (11 in 2009/10) as the Inter player with the most assists in a single Serie A season since Opta started to collect this data (2004/05). Generous.#InterRoma #SerieA
