Antonio Conte is back on great terms with Lautaro Martinez after their argument during Inter’s win over Roma, a report in the Italian media assured today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Lautaro apologised to Conte and his teammates in training yesterday and admitted he had made a mistake, showing a lack of respect.

Conte explained the reasons for taking Lautaro off during the second half of Wednesday’s match, telling the striker he came off because he wasn’t giving everything.

The pair are friends again now and buried the rift in hilarious fashion at Appiano Gentile, taking part in a ‘boxing match’ with Romelu Lukaku as their special announcer in the ring.

Lautaro organised a barbecue at training yesterday for his teammates, which he prepared along with Achraf Hakimi and Matias Vecino.

Inter’s players even enjoyed some red wine, with the mood in the camp still said to be relaxed despite the club’s off-field problems.
