Inter are preparing to receive an offer from Shakhtar Donetsk for midfielder Stefano Sensi and will look to cash in on the Italian international.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Ukrainian club are close to confirming Sassuolo coach Roberto De Zerbi as their new tactician for the coming season and he is keen to reunite with former Neroverdi player Sensi.

De Zerbi has made three requests as he looks to close the gap on league leaders Dynamo Kiev, and Sensi is amongst his key targets, whilst Inter are open to selling.

The 25-year-old has struggled for regular playing time under Antonio Conte this season, with just three starting appearances, and Inter hope to raise much-needed funds by agreeing a deal with Shakhtar.

The Nerazzurri will look to move him on by 30 June and hope that positive performances in the European Championships for Italy this summer will help bring his price up.

Sensi arrived on an initial loan in 2019, before joining Inter permanently last summer in a deal worth €20 million.
