Inter forward Rigoberto Rivas has attracted attention from Spezia and the Nerazzurri could look to cash in on him this summer.

The Honduran has enjoyed two productive seasons on loan in Serie B with Reggina, and this has prompted Spezia to sound him out for a deal, according to FCInterNews.it.

Spezia have secured their Serie A status for next term and have begun looking at the transfer market, whilst Inter are hoping to bring in funds by offloading him at the end of the campaign.

The 22-year-old has attracted interest from elsewhere, whilst Reggina are also hopeful of retaining him for a further season, but Spezia have shown the strongest desire and will meet with Inter to discuss a permanent transfer.

Rivas joined Inter from Prato in 2016 but is yet to make a senior appearance for the Nerazzurri, with loans at Brescia and Ternana prior to his stint with Reggina.
