Lautaro Martinez could well be playing his football away from Inter next season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Tuttosport’s print edition said the striker was being courted by Real Madrid, who have offered El Toro a monster salary worth €9 million annually.

Inter are set to receive a €90 million offer from Los Blancos, made up of €60 million cash and the remaining money they haven’t paid to Real Madrid for Achraf Hakimi.

This report is in contrast with another story today, which said Inter had revived contact with Lautaro’s agent and were discussing a contract extension for the player with the Nerazzurri.

Inter need to sell a key player before June 30 if they are to balance the books for this current financial year, the Turin-based paper suggested.

In addition to Lautaro, the report said Alessandro Bastoni was also receiving interest from one of Europe’s top clubs, with Pep Guardiola keeping close tabs on the defender at Manchester City.

Stefano Sensi could also be set to leave Inter, with his former Sassuolo boss Roberto De Zerbi reportedly keen on bringing him to Shakhtar Donetsk.
