Stefano Sensi is attracting interest from Shakhtar Donetsk, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As per Calciomercato.com, Sensi’s former Sassuolo boss Roberto De Zerbi is due to take charge of the Ukrainian side and he remains a big admirer of the Inter midfielder.

Shakhtar Donetsk are preparing an offer for Sensi, who is under contract with Inter until 2024 and earns €2 million annually, but the 25-year-old has interest from Serie A as well.

Fiorentina are also thinking about making a move for Sensi, but at the moment he would prefer to target a move to a more prestigious club.

Sensi took Inter by storm following his move from Sassuolo in 2019, scoring three goals and providing four assists during his first seven league appearances.

He is finally returning to full fitness now after missing the first half of this season due to injury, with Italy boss Roberto Mancini counting on him for this summer’s European Championships.

Sensi has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Inter during the current campaign, but he has only played a total of 596 minutes.
