Inter are ready to begin contract talks with Marcelo Brozovic but the midfielder might already have turned his attention elsewhere, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As per Gazzetta.it, Brozovic’s father Ivan – who recently replaced Miroslav Bicanic as the midfielder’s agent – is due to arrive in Milan and meet the Nerazzurri’s directors at the end of the season.

Brozovic is out of contract with Inter in 2022 (next summer) and is beginning to assess his options, with interest reported from a few clubs in the Premier League.

Paris Saint-Germain are also showing an interest in the Croatian though, and Brozovic would be excited by the prospect of joining the Ligue 1 giants.

Inter intend to offer a new contract to the 28-year-old, but the Milan-based publication warned it would not be easy to reach an agreement for a fresh deal.

Brozovic, who has scored two goals and provided seven assists this season, could further pursue talks with PSG if Inter were unable to reach an agreement with his father.
