Inter are one of three European clubs interested in Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, according to a report in Turkey.

NTV Spor (via Tribal Football) said the Nerazzurri were keen on a move for the 25-year-old along with Tottenham Hotspur and Lille.

Trabzonspor are adamant they want €20 million to sell the Turkey international, as well as 25% cut from any future transfer fee.

Club president Ahmet Agaoglu insisted: “He is arguably the best goalkeeper in Turkey.

“He needs to go to the best club that pays the most, no player steps out of Trabzonspor unless we receive offers that respect their value.”

Cakir is one of the names being linked with Inter as the Nerazzurri seek a long-term successor for Samir Handanovic in goal.

Inter are unlikely to have much money to spend in the transfer window though, which means it will be difficult to convince Trabzonspor to sell.

Cakir is in no mood to burn his bridges with the Super Lig club either, adding (as quoted by FcInterNews.it): “If my club doesn’t receive the offer it wants, I won’t leave.”

Cakir has made 116 appearances for Trabzonspor, who finished fourth in Turkey’s top flight this season, and is under contract until 2024.
