Inter have named their price for anyone wishing to sign Christian Eriksen this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As per Gazzetta.it, Eriksen has become a key figure in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system, but the Dane’s €7.5 million annual salary is a heavy burden on the club’s accounts.
Eriksen cannot be considered ‘for sale’, as it were, but if Inter received an offer worth €25-30 million then it might be taken into consideration.
If anyone were to make that kind of offer the 29-year-old, the Milan-based publication explained, it would most likely come from the Premier League.
Inter are aiming to save €32 million in salaries alone by offloading their highest earners and fringe players, according to this report.
If they were able to shift everyone they wanted, it would free up funds to make two or three signings for Conte ahead of next season.
Eriksen is giving added value to Inter’s midfield since he kick-started his career at the club in January, but he is not certain to be with the Nerazzurri when they begin their Serie A title defence in August.
