The future of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has been cast into further doubt after his agent met with representatives of La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Spanish outlet Marca, Martinez’s new agent, Alejandro Camano, was in Madrid to discuss a deal with the city rivals, despite the player’s desire to remain at Inter.

However, it is noted that a deal with the Nerazzurri is far from easy, despite the possibility that financial constraints may force Inter to sell a key player this summer.

Real Madrid’s primary target remains Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, but if a move for the Norway international is not viable they will focus on Martinez.

The Argentine striker had previously been linked with Barcelona but appeared set for a new contract at Inter earlier in the year. Progress has since slowed following his decision to dispense with agents Beto Yaque and Rolando Zarate in favour of Camano.
