Inter coach Antonio Conte will meet with the hierarchy of the club, including President Steven Zhang, this week and is expected to commit his future to the Nerazzurri.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, a meeting has been promised to ascertain Zhang’s ambitions for the club as he looks to downsize and reduce costs, potentially by selling players.

The face-to-face discussions are expected to take place as early as Monday, just one day after Inter conclude their Scudetto-winning season with the visit of Udinese in Serie A.

Zhang will be joined by CEO Beppe Marotta and fellow directors Piero Ausilio and Alessandro Antonelli at the club’s Villa Bellini base for the meeting with Conte, but it is expected the coach will cast any doubts about his future aside and commit to seeing out his contract.

Conte has another season remaining on the three-year deal he signed upon replacing Luciano Spalletti in 2019 and is determined to lead Inter to their 20th Scudetto next term.
