Lenovo have emerged as the favourites to become Inter’s new secondary shirt sponsor from next season, replacing Driver.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the Chinese laptop, smartphone, and television producer have moved ahead of the competition as they seek an agreement with Suning to represent the Nerazzurri.

Inter have broken away from long-term sponsors Pirelli and will adorn a new backer next season for the first time since 1995, although they will remain connected to the club as the Nerazzurri’s official global tyre partners until 2024.

Whilst a principal sponsor has yet to be found to take the place of Pirelli, the club appear set for a change of on the back of their shirts next year, with Lenovo likely to replace Driver.

Lenovo already have an agreement with Inter and are the club’s official technology partner, have signed a five-year deal in 2019, but will now look to step up their exposure by being featured on the kit.
