Inter coach Antonio Conte is expected to continue with first choice strikers Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez against Udinese today, despite Andrea Pinamonti pushing for a place.
The Nerazzurri welcome the Zebrette to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this afternoon for their final game of a successful season, in which they won a first Scudetto since 2010.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, Conte will make numerous changes to the starting line-up that fell to a 3-2 defeat to Juventus last time out, but Pinamonti will be on the bench.
Martinez had been in line to start alongside the 21-year-old, but he will now be joined by Lukaku as the Belgian searches for his 30th goal of the season in all competitions.
Elsewhere, Matias Vecino, Roberto Gagliardini, and Stefano Sensi form a new look midfield, whilst Ashley Young takes up the left-wing back role, opposite Achraf Hakimi.
Conte will also change his defence and give starts to Andrea Ranocchia and Danilo D’Ambrosio, in what could be their final matches ahead of the expiration of their respective contracts this summer. The pair will be joined at the back by Alessandro Bastoni, in front of goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
The coach has an almost full strength squad to choose from, with Aleksandar Kolarov the only absentee through injury, whilst Marcelo Brozovic and Matteo Darmian serve suspensions.
