Inter will lift the Serie A trophy at the conclusion of their match against Udinese today and they players will look to celebrate with gathering fans outside the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The Nerazzurri were crowned champions earlier this month for their first league title since 2010 and a first trophy since lifting the Coppa Italia the following year, but there will be a limited attendance for today’s final game.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, 1,000 spectators have been invited to the match but this will mainly be made up of sponsors, relatives of the players, and guests of the club, including ex-players Francesco Toldo, Nicola Berti, and Riccardo Ferri.
It is expected that 4,500 fans will gather outside the stadium to mark the triumph and the Inter players will involve them in the celebrations by holding the trophy aloft from Tower 4 of the San Siro, overlooking the crowd.
Inter are also looking to thank their members and will send out a special flag to each of them, commemorating their 19th Scudetto.
