Stefano Sensi picked up a thigh injury during Inter’s win over Udinese yesterday, the club have confirmed.

The midfielder started the Nerazzurri’s final game of the season but was forced to come off after 39 minutes, seemingly suffering from a muscular problem.

As per a statement from Inter today, Sensi underwent tests at the Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan and they revealed he has an adductor injury in his right thigh.

His condition will be reassessed in the next few days, although thankfully it is only a problem for Italy now and not Inter.

Antonio Conte has spent most of this season waiting for Sensi to regain fitness, with the 25-year-old seemingly unable to shake off the problems which plagued him last year.

Sensi made 21 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season, but they only totaled 635 minutes.

Inter finished their Serie A campaign by thrashing Udinese 5-1 at San Siro, after which they lifted the trophy.
