Inter have to lower the wage bill by at least 15-20% as well as sell one or two players for a sum of around €70/80 million an Italian broadcaster reports.

This according to Sky Sport 24 who moments ago reported that Inter President has informed the club’s directors of this fact but adding that the club’s intentions are to continue with Antonio Conte.

That could prove to be difficult given that the former Juventus and Chelsea coach does not seen too keen on offloading key players of the team he has built over the last two seasons the report continues.

However, there are two paths now for Inter to take, Sky Sport 24 continues, the first one being that the directors led by Beppe Marotta, continue their diplomatic work to keep Inter competitive led by Antonio Conte.

Should that not be possible, the second alternative would be to agree a mutual termination of the contract with the former Italian National Team coach, as Inter have no intention to sack him, the report concludes.
