Inter could soon lose the chance to hire Max Allegri as a replacement for Antonio Conte.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said Juventus were accelerating their pursuit to reappoint their former boss so they didn’t miss out on the opportunity to bring him back.
Bianconeri president Andrea Agnelli is a good friend of Allegri’s and it would be difficult for Allegri to say no should a call arrive to replace Andrea Pirlo.
Allegri is also on good terms with Beppe Marotta and this means Inter could seek to secure his services if and when Conte leaves.
Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also likely to be seeking new coaches soon, the report added, but the biggest threat to Juventus is Real Madrid.
Los Blancos could lose Zinedine Zidane as their boss soon and at that point they would need a replacement, such as Allegri.
Juventus would like to hire Zidane but they are still not certain if he is available, leaving Agnelli to put his eggs in the Allegri basket.
