Inter’s fitness coach Antonio Pintus will follow Antonio Conte out of the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As per La Repubblica, Pintus will leave Inter after two seasons at Appiano Gentile and so will much of the technical staff who worked under Conte.
Pintus became a cult hero among Inter’s fan base and was known for his extremely tough fitness regime, which kept the players in great shape throughout their Serie A title campaign.
Inter hardly suffered any muscular injuries this season and a large part of that was down to the excellent job Pintus did with his colleagues.
Conte left Inter by mutual consent last night and now the Nerazzurri will need to find a replacement, but it looks as if they have found their new head coach.
Simone Inzaghi will take over from Conte at Inter, as per multiple reports in Italy tonight.
