Inter have the chance to hire their former midfielder and FC Porto coach Sergio Conceicao, according to a report in the Italian media today.
FcInterNews.it said Conceicao’s representatives had offered his services to the Nerazzurri, as he considers whether to stay in Portugal or seek a new adventure.
Inter are not particularly keen on the idea for now, but they are not in a position to exclude anything as things stand and Conceicao could become a viable candidate.
Conceicao only earns €2 million annually and knows Serie A from his playing days, having spent two years with the Nerazzurri between 2001 and 2003.
FC Porto have offered Conceicao a new two-year deal worth €3 million annually in wages, but the 46-year-old is considering his options before giving a response.
Inter are looking for a successor to Antonio Conte after he parted company with the club last night, but Max Allegri and Simone Inzaghi are both out of reach now.
