Inter must fend off interest from Torino if they want to keep Federico Dimarco, according to a leading Italian transfer expert.
As per Gianluca Di Marzio, Torino are set to appoint Ivan Juric as their new boss, who coached Dimarco during his loan spell at Hellas Verona this season.
Juric wants reinforcements in the left wing-back position when he officially joins the Granata, and his first objective would be to sign Dimarco.
But Inter have recalled Dimarco from their loan spell in Verona, and it seems the Nerazzurri want to keep hold of him for next season.
Torino will not give up easily on the 23-year-old but everything will depend on Inter’s decision and perhaps the view of Simone Inzaghi.
Inzaghi is set to replace Conte as Inter’s head coach and will probably continue using his 3-5-2 system, which could be good news for Dimarco.
Dimarco scored five goals and provided five assists for Hellas Verona this season, helping the Gialloblu to a 10th-place finish in Serie A.
