PSG are serious about signing Achraf Hakimi from Inter, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said the Parisians’ Qatari owners were very interested in the wing-back, who was perfect for Antonio Conte’s system but now faces an uncertain future.
Inter would consider opening talks over Hakimi if PSG made an offer worth €50 million, but the Ligue 1 runners-up have an ace up their sleeve.
PSG are aware that Leandro Paredes remains of interest to Inter, so they could include him in their offer to lower the Nerazzurri’s demands.
Inter have no untouchable players in their squad now, the Milan-based paper warned, because they need capital gains worth a total of nearly €100 million in order to balance the books.
PSG already made a bid for Hakimi last summer before the 22-year-old chose Inter, and now they might revive their interest after Conte’s shock exit.
Bayern Munich are also interested in Hakimi, who scored seven goals and provided 11 assists for Inter during his first season there.
