Paris Saint-Germain have begun their mission to sign Achraf Hakimi from Inter, according to a report in the French media.
RMC Sport revealed PSG’s sporting director Leonardo had contacted the Moroccan international’s entourage, having identified him as a transfer priority.
PSG will not make Alessandro Florenzi’s loan move from Roma permanent and Hakimi is their new target at right-back, although they are not the only interested club.
Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on Hakimi, as well as another unknown top club.
Inter need to recoup at least €80 million in player sales during the summer transfer window, the report explained, and this could mean Hakimi is on his way out.
Antonio Conte had an excellent relationship with the 22-year-old following his €40 million move from Real Madrid, but now Conte has left and that could change Hakimi’s future as well.
Hakimi scored seven goals and provided 11 assists for Inter last season as the Nerazzurri won their first Serie A title since 2010.
