Newly crowned Primeira Liga champions Sporting Lisboa have signed Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario from Inter for €8 million.
This according to Portuguese journalist Pedro Almeida who took to his Twitter page to announce that a deal is done and that Joao Mario will stay where he’s spent the last season on loan at.

Joao Mario joined Inter in the summer of 2016 from Sporting in a deal worth €45 million and was one of Suning’s first signings Suning made when buying the club from Erick Thohir and Massimo Moratti.
The Portuguese international has since then failed to secure a place at Inter and spent most of duration of his contract on loan.
To date, Joao Mario has only featured 69 times across all competitions scoring 4 goals in the process.
